Corinna Brathwaite joined Poly’s Math Department as a Middle School teacher in 2023. She has taught math in a variety of spaces as a tutor, middle school math teacher at public school and in a charter school, and taught math in higher education. Corinna has taught pre-service and in-service elementary teachers how to teach mathematical concepts as well. The journey has been a blast and brings her here to Poly Prep Middle School. Corinna has earned her Ph.D. in Urban Education at CUNY Graduate Center and continues to research and investigate emotions in teaching and learning.
